Legends ofAmarna

Warning! The anathema is here.

The doctrine that poisoned the souls of many, that wrought blood against blood, life against life. Aspasia has not been the same, nor will it ever be. As history fades into legend, and legend into myth, so too are the whispers of peace that had once brought each of the races together in harmony. As such a time faded into history, so does the chaos grow - the resentment that breeds loathing - that brings about war.

With the world pitted against each other, each race, equines, canines, and felines taking sides, the question is, which side will you choose?

Eihenoth is a large creature, his height at the withers coming in at 20.1hh, although, his Belgian x Friesian influence aides in making him appear considerably larger by the way he carries himself. His base coat is deep midnight; black in some parts, but clearly with dark blue and purple tones that, should he have bathed recently, shimmer in the light. Though it is difficult to determine if he has eyeballs or simply eye sockets filled with an ethereal glowing green substance, Eihenoth can still most definitely see; just, perhaps, not in the same way as others. Also, instead of a mane and tail of hair, he has heavy locks of moss; this also grows across his chest and under his front legs to about ¾ the length of his barrel. From his head to half-way down his neck glows an unusual and misshapen series of green spines that seem ethereal in nature but most certainly have a physical quality to them, but it is unknown if the material is of this world or another. Adoring his jaw is the jawbone of some creature of long ago, and although it is not fused to his skin in the technical term, there is moss beneath it that acts as a strong adhesive. The same can be said for the rib bones that he wears over his own; five of them seem to near-perfectly match what would be his own if the skin had grown around them instead of over them, but there is also another bone that wraps around his shoulders and points outwards from his chest in such a way that it is similar to how a tree root might grow.

There is a strange swirl of the same green substance as his eyes hovering around mid-shoulder height, that doesn’t seem to be of anything in particular. However, it is not useless by any means. Should Eihenoth wish it, a giant pair of wings will form, made up of this ethereal substance – it’s not quite fog or smoke, nor slimy or watery, but definitely has a near silk-like feel if one could manage to touch it. These wings are huge but transparent and are not something that he uses often at all.

Eihenoth is somewhat withdrawn and reclusive in nature, so if you happen upon him it is common to see him alone. His huge size and almost otherworldly appearance tends to keep many away from him, which is entirely acceptable in his view, and whilst he can act intimidating when he so chooses, he is actually rather kind and gentle. However, due to his reclusive nature, he can come across as emotionally underdeveloped in some areas; he has mostly only observed the emotions of others and therefore doesn’t necessarily know them for himself, although can sometimes describe how he physically feels if something has caused him to feel. This isn't saying that he is apathetic, but to many, it can come across that way if they do not have the patience to get to know him. He enjoys the company of nature and tends to avoid noisy or overpopulated areas, finding that there is simply too much going on and he feels like he’s suffocating.

Eihenoth was not always his name, it is only the newest in a line of many throughout his life. Sometimes he chooses his own based on places he visits, other times it is given to him by someone he befriended and came to mean a great deal to. His original name is so old now that it has become unpronounceable even by his own tongue. But a name is just something for others to call him by should they wish to do so; it has no other purpose nor meaning to him personally, and yet, it is his and his alone.

He has been wondering the world for time unknown, always keeping to himself in the forests except where others have sought him out; sometimes with good intentions, sometimes with bad, but more often than not, purely by accident. He would never go out of his way to interact with others, but did not force them away should they come to him, as he could learn from observation, and occasionally made a rare friend in those who simply sought friendship and selfless knowledge.

But time goes on and places and its people change, and it gets too loud and noisy, too dangerous. So he moves on, travelling through the forests of the world, or, where needed, flying high above the clouds to reach new places otherwise inaccessible by foot.
