Legends ofAmarna

Warning! The anathema is here.

The doctrine that poisoned the souls of many, that wrought blood against blood, life against life. Aspasia has not been the same, nor will it ever be. As history fades into legend, and legend into myth, so too are the whispers of peace that had once brought each of the races together in harmony. As such a time faded into history, so does the chaos grow - the resentment that breeds loathing - that brings about war.

With the world pitted against each other, each race, equines, canines, and felines taking sides, the question is, which side will you choose?

Durg

Durg felt at ease on this mountain, it reminded him of home. Perhaps the gods did not fully despise him after all. Sighing he ran a hand on a rocky wall "I miss my cave..." Then again, he always missed his cave, which wasn't even in this world. Stop complaining and find what we need! Durg rolled his eyes "You say that like it's easy to find a geode. They look like rocks you know." At least until you cracked one open, then a sparkling inside would be revealed. They could be lucky enough to find one already cracked, but Durg highly doubted that.

Moving from the wall he scanned the ground for any rocks that he thought might be a geode. The former dragon didn't even know if they would be a rarity or something common to the area. The first item they had gathered had been quite a pain to find...so he could only guess that this one would prove to be as much of a struggle. Huffing to himself, he played with the shadows as he moved, more out of idle boredom than anything else. Stop using your magic, we may need it later. Durg rolled his eyes "Yes mother" he said sarcastically and then bent down to examine one of the many rocks around them.

This was boring, but at least it was better than the mesa they had come here from. Durg preferred the mountains and hoped that the other locations would be more like the craggy peaks now around him.

Something is Happening...

As Durg plays with the shadows around them, the dim light reacts in kind, and the walls of the mountain city begin to dance in deep contrast and silhouette. High up on one of the ledges, in a nest of brutally sharp stalagmites and stalactites, something flashes in the shifting light. Is it a cracked geode? Or perhaps some other crystal or agate exposed against the rock? It's impossible to say from where Durg and Eternia walk, and very possible not to see at all.

Something gleams on a high-up ledge. It could be the geode Durg and Eternia seek, or it could be a disappointing shiny thing. With so much razor-sharp stone surrounding it, it will be impossible to fly close enough – if you want to see what it is, you may attempt the dangerous climb up the sheer walls of the inner mountain and try to squeeze through the stalactites.
